Bob,
I'm not familiar with the Quill Gordan Summit, what's up with this, any info would be appreciated?
We'll be up in your part of the country from 28 April through 05 May. We rented a cabin down around Haneyville on the south end of the creek but weather permitting we're planning a two day float trip from your end down to Slate Run sometime over the week we're around. Were still developing our plan for what creeks to fish and of course this will be driven largely by the weather we get when we're there.
Thanks for the feedback on the dun colors and sizes for the quill gordons and the blue quills. I had thought blue quills would run a bit smaller (18's) but I defer to you local knowledge and appreciate the intel. Do you have a color you prefer for the blue quills? Any other hatches you'd recommend we prepare for? I've got Hendrickson done and a variety of caddis, sedges and stones in the boxes. Last year with the early warm up we hit March Browns, Gray Foxes and even some Slate Drakes, but that was a weird year.
Again, thanks for you input and information!
