I have a chance to buy this rod, custom made. Can any of you Fisher lovers suggest a fair price I should expect to give?

Hi Herefishy,
You may need to give a bit more information to get an answer. Can you give details about the type of guides, reel seat, etc., etc., etc. Even with that information, I probably couldn't give much of an idea of the value, but others possibly could if they have the needed details.

I did a little research and did not find a lot of info. Can I assume this is a glass rod?

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
Is it a GT40? I have 2 GT40's and they are good fly rods with what I would call a moderate parabolic action.

The best I can find is that they are not the same model as the GT40, was hoping some one knew about these.
I think it's a graphite, but will have to take another look.
Emerald series are graphite from the late '90s.
The late owner of the fly shop I help with built lots of custom rods and often built rods just to occupy his time when no customers were in his shop and he didn't have other tasks to do.
When he passed we found several dozen custom rods in storage. Included were many built on various Fisher blanks including some Emerald blanks. These were all very nice builds. We donated some and also sold some. These were mint condition rods. All two piece. Prices were $75-$100 with no tube. That was the best we could do.
Thanks for the responses - will take a closer look and give it a lawn cast.
