    Body hackle: Saddle, dyed black

    Body: Seal's fur, dyed green (or substitute)

    You do beautiful work Hans! Where do you find the inspiration to do such nice trout flies? When I lived in The Netherlands (Eindhoven about 20 years ago) I never say anything I thought might be trout water.

    Cliff,

    As you certainly saw this country lacks gradient, and as such has very little running water other than the major rivers. I am a stream addict so for most of my fishing I have to travel - nearby places like in Germany, or the UK, or further afield.
