Default video - 3D (Double Dirty Duster)

Bob Wyatt's Dirty Duster is an excellent impressionistic emerger pattern. The 3D (Double Dirty Duster) is essentially Bob's pattern, with a fun play on words. Call it any name you wish and tie/fish it, or ignore it at your detriment

Great buggy looking fly, Hans. If one was inclined to hackle stacker-type flies, this could possibly be one that would adapt itself to that style.

Absolutely Joe. If one was inclined to - I am not one of those.

    Hans,
I really enjoy your videos of some very interesting patterns. Here is my problem: I primarily fish Mountain West, US, streams and probably the most prolific hatches I fish call for much smaller sizes and, as often as not, different colors. Additionally, I personally don't have available to me at all times the particular hooks which are suggested. Anyway, Wyatt's Double Duster really appeals to me as a good potential PMD emerger pattern. So, I tried one in the larger end of the size spectrum - a size 16.

Now, the bottom is clipped flat. The photo might suggest otherwise.
I probably would tie the hackle more dense next time - not sure.

Anyway, is there any chance you might do a video of your adaptation of Wyatt's pattern to the common PMD in a size 16?
    Would love to watch!
    Thanks,
    Byron
