    I need more than just rainys in cabelas....there are lots of rainys in cabelas, is warmwater, salt, what ??
    give me a pattern in cabelas that looks like it...and i can tie it....
    is red under the hook shank ???
    need as much details as you can descibe and I'll tie it....

    Closer, Bob. Less head. The one I saw was a Rainy baitfish pattern. What size are you tying? That was the thing it was a large hook which kept the babies off. This attracted the larger ones I think.

    its a size 3- 4x long gold hook for now. I'll do a smaller head tomorrow morning..I tie from 6am to 10 am everyday. still waiting on addy..I am serious about sending..

    Sure. Just say the word. I tie a red and white baitfish pattern (Puglisi-style), but I usually put the red on top. I also tie red and white Polar Minnows. They are both deadly on white and striped bass.

    I know, I tie several with the white on the bottom. I still can't remember where I got these but they were white over red and the big green sunfish just loved them. Red craft fur on order and should arrive in a few days.
