    Default Old Truck

I hate to see old trucks like that rust back to dirt. That appears to be what we used to call a 3/4 ton which were pretty rare at the time because they were large pickup and not quite to a full truck. The spare tire is on a split rim wheel which was a man killer if care and expertise was not used when airing it up after repairing or mounting a tire. Repairs required removing the tire, patching the tube and/or applying a "boot" to the tire to fix a weak spot. The mirrors would bounce so much you could usually only tell something was behind you, not what it was unless you already knew. There a key hole under the door handle so you could lock it. I learned the hard way most cars only have one keyhole because we all have remote locks, if you ever have to resort to a key, only the drivers' door has a key slot. Good photo, old memories.

That is a rare one in exceptionally good shape for the age. Those old Internationals were almost bullet proof. Only problem with them was that they wanted to dive into every corn field you went past.
