    Default Woven midge

    Here are a couple of woven midgers I have done. Both are on size 20 hooks. Peacock head.
    First is with two threads from embroidery floss. The second with single thread strands from the floss.

    Hi Rick, I've never had the patience to tie woven flies but I admire those who do. Where do you fish these? Ponds or streams?

    As a dropper off a foam fly in ponds.
    Work well on bluegills.
