    Default Furled Leaders Arrived

Thanks to John Scott, I am going to give thread furled leaders a try this summer. Not having used thread leaders before, I ordered these that are 5.5' long and are made of 6/0 Uni-thread.
    It is from Quigley's.
Is said to be for 5/6 wt. Lines which is what I usually fish.

Thanks John..will let you know how they perform. I fish dries, primarily, and will let you know. If they sink my fly, you and Hans will probably be able to hear my scream

    Byron,

I would have suggested 7' or 7'6" for your dry fly fishing in MT and ID.

Red Mucelin treatment - before the fishing session commences. If it is a full day fishing, then again when you break around lunchtime.

    You will do fine.

    Cheers,
    Hans W

Curious why you would suggest 7' to 7'6" leaders??
Not saying you cannot, John. I am expressing a view - and will provide my reasoning - but first you tell me your typical tippet length.
