Talking Wanted to share the blessings of poultry (non-FF related)

Just wanted to share with you a picture or two of what our lovely chickens have blessed us with these past few mornings.

The egg on the left is a normal-sized egg that we have been getting since July. The middle egg is the egg we got 2 days ago (which we thought was HUGE), but then, the one on the right side is the egg we got yesterday and it was even bigger!

As you can see, we almost weren't able to close the egg carton!

Whoever says chickens stop laying in winter obviously hasn't met our chickens...

Possibly a change of feed, also good healthy living and most likely a desire on the part of the chicken not to end up in the soup pot.

We get our eggs from our Pastor and they are the biggest most beautiful eggs and they just make you baking taste so good. I will never go back to store bought eggs again and yes, they too are much bigger than store bought and the yokes are so much brighter yellow
