    Thread: Danville Flymaster 6/0, hot orange
    Hackle: Partridge, brown
    Rib: Tinsel, gold oval
    Tail: Partridge, brown - tied short
    Abdomen: Floss, orange
    Thorax: Australian possum; partridge, grey; Australian possum


    Note: Brush out the Australian possum with a velcro brush to form a shroud

    A great design and tie Hans.
    I like wingless soft hackle steelhead/sea trout flies, but I'm probably too
    heavy with the hackle. Less is more.

    Hans,

    Beautiful fly. I love the look of this pattern. It looks like it would also be super effective as a soft hackel for trout and warmwater.
