Default First shot at a elk-hair baby turtle

Just playing around, getting ready for the Boise show, and I thought I'd do another hair fly for the display. Didn't have a turtle, so a turtle it is.
This should actually be a durable, fishable fly. I plan to make some hatchlings about the size of a silver dollar for fishing.
The material list for this is short and sweet:
Top shell, legs, tail, head: patch of olive-dyed elk hair using the leather beneath also.
Bottom shell: Patch of yellow dyed elk hair with leather
    turtle-neck: Olive polypro
    Eyes: 3D epoxy eyes
    Thread- Spun gel
    Colors- indelible markers
    Finish- Clear glue
Hook: 8x-Long 2/0 SS saltwater hook, aberdeen bend (any large streamer hook will work)

That is the second turtle fly I have seen this week! Both super cool and done entirely differently. I really like this one.

That's downright amazing. You sure you didn't skewer a baby turtle?
