    Default Al's Hair Hopper SBS

Al Troth married the body of a Henry's Fork Hopper with the wing from his Elk Hair Caddis, added some biot legs and came up with a neat little hopper (could also pass for a Yellow Sally in these colors, I guess). For whatever reason don't think it ever caught on like the HF or Letort Hopper when it came out, but it's still a cool bug. Simple to tie, floats well and fish eat it. Works especially well for me in the smaller sizes #12-16; change colors as you see fit, tan and olive have also been very effective.
