Well, the rod that Orvis gave me arrived yesterday after a long wait because of the Holidays. It is a 7'9" Superfine 1-1/2 oz. with a Battenkill reel with backing and line. They gave me this outfit because of a thread I had started on another forum. I think while my wife and Grand-daughter are fooling around in the kitchen today, I will be out fishing with the new outfit.

Sounds like a plan to me. Now, if I can get the Seal of Approval from the wife.
