I wish each and every one of you tight lines to quicken your pulse, sunsets astream that defy description, and hatches so reliable that you can set your watch by them! And, may the simple joys of a good friend to share a river with, a favorite rod with which to fish said river, and the smell of a mug of coffee riverside forever be yours to tuck away for the quieter moments later on... Be well, my FAOL friends. For me, the end of 2012 marked the end of a battle, while the start of 2013 ushers in a new era for the ol' "hairwing530..."

"This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." I wish each and every member a great 2013. I have hope this will be a better year than the last by several measurements. One of the first things on my list of things to do is meet in person and fish with several gentlemen from Tennessee, and maybe EdD too. I hope we all have more opportunites to fish and catch more and bigger fish and enjoy the company of our favorite companions.
