    Thats my plan, fish the creek come Saturday. No winter yet here in North Texas.

    Air temps, yes. Water temps....... not the best for catching em on the fly!

    Just have to find the fish. I caught a Bluegill yesterday, albiet a small one. It hit a parachute post midge pattern I was trying out.

    Fish nymphs very s-l-o-w-l-y. The 'gills are still there and they're still eating. If ice fishermen can catch bluegills, and they do, so can we. I've been out in December and had some surprisingy good days.

    They definitely are getting sluggish here...but can definitely be caught on flies. They'll hit until the lakes freeze over...then you just gotta switch your approach.
