    *warning* unconventional tying sequence, to produce a traditional looking result




    Delaware Adams
    Hook: Partridge SLD #12 (or equivalent standard dry fly hook)
    Thread: Benecchi 12/0, olive
    Wings: Hen, grizzly
    Body hackle: Cock, grizzly
    Tail: Grizzly barbs
    Body: Olive, mix of rabbit and synthetic
    Hackle: Cock, grizzly and brown

    I believe the LH version would prove superior on streams south of the Equator; Coroilis Force and all that. Both flies look to be light on their respective feet; nicely done guys.

    Hans,

    Had to give it a go too. I wonder why brown wasn't/isn't mixed for the tail? Have you seen or tried the Deleware Wulff?

    Beautiful flies everybody.I have to say that I would have broken the various hackles and have the whole thing unwind about five times during that sequence.I definitely will try the reverse hackling technique this weekend.
