Default Fishing Buddy coming home ror Christmas

We worked out the details and bought a ticket for our grandson Eddie to fly home from Italy for Christmas. He will have 2 weeks to come, visit and get back. WOO HOO! I was beginning to think we were going there. He's doing well in the Air Force. Jim
I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim

That is great Jim, I am sure this will insure a happy Thanksgiving for all of your family. I hope you guys have some good fishing also, although I know you will be building memories whether the fish cooperate or not.

He has not been able to fish since joining the Air Force. He said Italian fishing licenses for non-residents are very costly. Although he has visited some nice areas with streams and lakes he hasn't been able to fish any of them. He is looking forward to doing some fishing when he's home. By the way, he's spending Thanksgiving in Paris. Little rascal gets around Europe with his buddies. Jim

If he gets a chance he should visit the Czech. Some good grayling fishing and their licenses aren't to bad. A fellow blogger that I follow had her honeymoon there earlier this fall.

Life is expensive... but it does include a free trip around the sun.

He has to watch that because some area in Europe are still off limits to U.S. Military Personnel. Czechoslovakia was that the last I knew of but that was some time ago. Tell him to check with the recreation center at his nearest post if his post doesn't have what he is looking for. He is military so he can use the recreation stuff on any other military post regardless of branch.
