    Warren,
I cleaned up my PM box, I Talked to Jack and Kaboom1 and I think we are going to send bugman the leaders anyway. Maybe a little gift of a few leaders will ease the tension of his damage problem.

    Thanks,

    Joe B

This is the way I make the leaders I'm sending in:

I make a big loop (12-10-8-6) leader out of clear .004 Polyester.
    PICT0003.jpg
Then make 1 big loop wrap of Cotton coated Polyester Tan.
    PICT0004.jpg
Then make 1 big loop wrap of Cotton coated Polyester Olive drab.
    PICT0005.jpg
Then twist, Furl, shorb loop both ends, done!

To let everyone know i sent out swaped leader yesterday 1/14/12.
It was a great success, everyone made great leaders. I cant wait for the rain
to stop here so I can try them out. I would like to thank Jack, and Warren for there
advise on how to handle a swap. I hope we can do this again latter on in the year.

P.S. If anyone has or can get bugmans address so I can send him the extra leaders
that would help. I PM him but got no reply. If i dont get it in a week or so I will
return the leaders to the people that made them.

    Thanks Again.

Recieved my leaders to day. They all looked nicely done and I did some testing to see how they compare.
All cast very well with the heavier leaders being more agressive in the turn over (as expected). Next I measured each one and must say most of us have got to tweek our formulas a bit. Only TomS and Warren's leader were the length they listed. I then did a 4 lb. pull test as all the leaders were rated over 6 lb. test.

    Jack (6' 6") 6' 3", streatch 6 1/2"
    TomS (7') 7', streatch 3 1/2"
    Kaboom1 (7') 6' 10", streatch 7 1/2"
    Sirhood (5' 11") 6' 1/2" streatch broke @ 3 1/2#???!!!
    Warren (6' 9") 6' 9", streatch 7"
    Kevin (7') 6' 10", streatch 6"
    Joe (7') 6' 7 1/2". streatch 7 1/4"

The lighter the material the more delicate the presentations and the lighter monos also had the most elongation.
sirhoop yours gave ate the tippet shorb loop, I'll see if I can get a photo of it.

    Jack,

Excellent report and thanks you for sharing your test results.
I am not surprised by the stretch on each but didn’t realize my length was off, I guess I need to make adjustments to the OLD board.
