I don't remember who tied it, but a couple years ago, somebody tied a fly on this theme that was kind of like a streamer. It's the only streamer I've ever had any luck with. I need to check my files and see what fly it was. The body was silverish, and the swords were on the tail and top of the fly like fins. Great fly.

For me, put me down for my favorite... zug bug. (maybe bead head, can't decide!)

I'll have to check on what I did the last time and do something different. I'll get back to You this weekend.

I'm in with a St. Patrick. May be the pattern Branhap mentioned. I tied it for the November 2010 swap but, if it worked I'll be happy to tie up some more.

I take photos of all the flies I get from these swaps, so when I get home, I'll take a look back through my photos.

I still cannot find a name, or any fly like this one. I've been tying it so long, I don't remember where I learned it from. I might have just made it up as a teenager. Whatever you want to call it, this thing catches fish. I used to tie it with bucktail, but now I use synthetic hair. I guess we can just call it a Georgia Minnow, for now. ANyway, they are done and will be in the mail on Monday.

I'm not sure what the pattern is called, but it's a bucktail with peacock herl on top. Deadly on Striped and White Bass. I'll research it and get back to you.

I haven't found the name for it online, yet, but it's just some white bucktail on the bottom, a little yellow on top, a little green over than, and topped with 4-7 peacock herls. It has a small red throat, and is usually tied with no eyes, or cheeks. I've been using this pattern for so long I don't even remember when I learned to tie it, but at least since I was a teenager. This pattern will absolutely put stripers and sand bass in the boat, in freshwater, anyway. I never tried it on saltwater stripers, but I bet it works there, too. I'd just change the hook to a stainless steel one.

Whatever it is, put me down for it.
