    Default Get your deer yet?

    Got mine the hard way:

The Dodge Ram emblem is somehow appropriate; yes that is part of the deer on the upper left grill. I was very lucky the guy coming the other way, who initially grazed the deer, didn't swerve or I may have come out of this as bad as bambi.

    Regards,
    Scott

Came around a corner on a rural raod here a few years ago and saw somebody loading road kill on their roof rack. Noticed the windshield was shattered and the "road kill" woke up shook its head, jumped off the roof of the car and ran in to the woods. Glad you are safe.

I don't suppose the deer left his insurance agents name. Glad you were not physically harmed. Is that your Virginia nature lovers license plat that got it? Glad you did get the one with the deer on it now?

Then there's the story I heard years ago about the guy who's "dead" deer came back to life, after being placed on the back seat of this new car! HA!

My favorite uncle had a young buck try to jump over his older station wagon from a high bank above a twisting "mountain-type" road. The deer clipped a hoof on the rain gutter and died doing a faceplant in the road. Little tiny scratch was all the evidence the deer had clipped the gutter...

But actually I got a "deer" last week. It was a little chilly at -10 or so. We went four for four in our little group and this one was one of about 100 that we managed to get in front of with close to 100 others and they came past us within 25 yards.
