    This was posted yesterday on the Flytyer Forum where David was a moderator. I know he was a member here and will be missed.

    Folks..

    It is with great sadness that I must inform you that David Mac passed away at home this morning after losing his battle with cancer..

    Our sisters requested that I contact the forum and let you all know..

    David?s obituary will appear in the Boston Globe Friday.. Services will be held at Morris & O'Connor funeral home on Long Pond Rd., S. Yarmouth Ma 02662.. The Wake is Sunday 2-4.. The Funeral is Monday at 11: 00am.. Please make donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers..

    I know how much this forum meant to Dave.. I suspect everyone close to him knew that as well and appreciated it.. After a long hiatus from tying he truly found great pleasure getting back into it and getting involved in the forum..

    Dave asked us to remove his sponsor page because he was unable to pay his sponsor fee because of of his illness. We left it up out of respect for a fine gentleman.

    Wow... very sad to see Dave go :'( I REALLY wanted to meet him in person someday. I'll get to meet him in heaven though...
