Betty Hiner: Is that the Roaring River in MO, NC, TN, or some other state? Mighty nice water and a fly only section to boot.
Hey, Paul. This particular Roaring River is in Missouri. Smack in the Ozarks, right near the little town of Cassville. Beautiful any time of the year!

Miss Betty, don't change the subject. Before the cold front moves in, GO CATCH SOME 'GILLS !!!
You don't want no P.O.'ed toad...

The gills are getting a little skittish and scarce with the cooler weather around here, but the white bass are getting frisky. Will they do?
If it swims and eats, it'll eat a fly.
Did Miss Betty catch ANY 'gills this summer? Are there witnesses?
Ed
I know a fantastic way of catching gills this time of year.......
The Green Hornet strikes again!!!
The only bluegill I was even close to, is Bluegill222 ... sat across the table from him at fly tying last night!!

See if the Quivira Kid can help you with this essential therapy.
Get out and catch some 'gills. Make Cary take you. Get him to catch some too. Even a Heron needs some dietary variety.

Betty, darlin', have you caught any bluegills? Am I going to have to pester you for the rest of the year. I'm afraid your going to have to have a witness to any claimed bluegill, now. If you don't catch at least one bluegill, I'm going to ground you. No more broom for you! Catch some bluegills.
