We've had a bit of rain here in Honesdale (northeast PA) in the last 24 hours. The average flow rate for our local river, the Lackawaxen, is about 85cfs. The rate at this point is about 4200cfs. That's about 50 times the average flow rate for this time of year.
One consolation, it's stopped raining, at least for the moment.
