Didn't It Rain?
We've had a bit of rain here in Honesdale (northeast PA) in the last 24 hours. The average flow rate for our local river, the Lackawaxen, is about 85cfs. The rate at this point is about 4200cfs. That's about 50 times the average flow rate for this time of year.
One consolation, it's stopped raining, at least for the moment.

I am in pottsville and yeah it just actually stopped raining an hour or so ago. Not sure what the flow rates are but I know one stream I was on was very low last week so I think this will be a plus.

Yes a bit too much rain. I can honestly say this afternoon just outside of Tremont I saw a female mallard and five young walking on rt. 209. Not sure if stream was too high or what. Will be fishing somewhere on Weds. this weather ure makes us appreciate those little gems that get back into fishable shape quickly.
Man, I wish we were getting some of that rain out west here. It was 103 degrees here today!!!!!! That's the warmest June day we've had here since they started keeping records back in the 1800's! On the plus side, after a VERY wet fall/winter (we had something like 200% of our normal rainfall), some of our streams are falling back into shape pretty well. Just hope this warm weather isn't a sign of things to come, or we're gonna have a real bad fire season.
