The aspen leaves here in Rock River at 7000 ft area yellow--near peak color--out in Omaha the hardwoods are dry and turning, losing a lot of leaves due to dryness. Color might be a bit sparse this season.

Just getting some trees here and there turning right now in the Lower part of Michigan, but the Northern part is turning pretty good from what I have heard.

With all the rain we've had here in Vermont alot of leaves came down already and alot of areas just don't have the brilliant colors we're used to.
Leaves are brown, wet, on the ground, and beginning to be covered in snow.
Steelhead and Rainbow trout fishing are still good and Silver Salmon can still be had, though.
An update--awoke this morning to find the leaves, cold and shivvering!

.... what leaves ??
Not on the Rocky Mountain Front.
But some nice color in Northern Idaho.
And in some places over there it's ever green, flame red, and smoke gray.
Coming back from the Front the other day, we did see a lot of Cottonwoods in their Fall colors. Spectacular. But we didn't stop to get pix.
