Ron Eagle Elk
Has anyone been in touch with Ron lately. I know he had some personal things happen and he chose to leave the board. I was just wondering, and worrying a bit, about how he is doing. Sure would love to get a message through to him too.
Ron if you read this I hope and pray you are alright. You are missed here. If there is anything I can do to help just let me know.

5 years ago I was honored to show REE how to make furled leaders while we were at the Idaho Fish In. I had the board shipped out and I gave it to him that evening. The next year he spent some time showing my sister inlaw,"Kat", how to tie a" Flymph" which she proceded to catch one of the biggest Cutt's of the week. He is one of the best teachers I've ever known. The next year we shared laying back on a large rock way up the Selway watching his daughter show us how to catch a fish or two. Last year I presented him with a Lynchburg Fly Fishing Club T shirt! He goes way beyond being just a friend and I hope he is listening to us, his friends.
Just so you know ... today is REE's birthday. Had a quick message between us, and can tell you he is well and good. OK ... he's well ... can't vouch for how good he's being!! But, that's REE!!!

That is good news, glad to hear it. I was wondering how he was doing just the other day.

Just got an E mail from REE. He is doing fine. Says he is doing more shooting that fishing these days. He told me to say hi to all of his friends on FAOL.
