Default Flyfisherman magazine subscribers were getting jipped.

Just got my latest issue and noticed we only get five issues a year and January month is missing.Issues run feb-mar,apr-may,june-july,aug-sept,oct-nov-dec.We should get a discount for a issue taken!

Thomas, I see the amount of advertising increasing. I realize that the ads are necessary for the publisher to provide this magazine, but enough is enough. I'm letting my subscription lapse.

I am sure that if they were making money they wouldn't be cutting back on services. five issues a year is better than none. Advertisers are cutting back and people aren't buying equipment.

    Hi Thomas,

I just renewed after missing a couple of limited time offers that they had sent me after my subscription ran out last spring. Their offer is for 2 years (12 issues) at close to 60 percent off the cover price. I have to assume that it's still six issues a year. Below a bunch of stuff on that same page, they have a 100% Money-Back Guarantee if, for any reason, your dissatisfied with your subscription, they'll send you a full refund for all unserved issues in your current subscription.

I left the price out above on purpose so it wouldn't come across too much as advertizing, but they do have 2 years (12 issues) written.

Eastern Fly Fishing magazine used to be bi-monthly before this year, then they went to quarterly. Tough times for magazines.

    Regards,
    Mark
