You know you've caught more, and bigger, fish than your partner when:
1. They offer to go ahead on the path, then take the best water.
2. They lead down the moose path, through the 6 ft tall willows, and let the branches slap back in your face.
3. You holler at them to look at a fish ... repeatedly ... and it's not till after your release it that they turn and say, "Huh?"
4. You ask them to take a picture of the fish, cuz you've got your hands really full, and get the same response as #3.
5. You stand there in the afterglow of catching and releasing a big one, and get the "steely eye" look in response.
6. The silent treatment goes on all evening, in to the next day, and a good bit of the remaining week.
And you just smile!!
