    Default Foam Size For Smallmouths

I thought I read something about this before, but here is my question.

The largest harbor freight foam cutter I have is 1/2-inch. Will those be big enough to present as smallmouth bass poppers?

    Thanks

    Bruce,

Half inch is plently large enough for both largemouth and smallmouth bass. That aid, you can plug cutters out of rifle casings. I have them in a number of sizes ranging from 22 caliber upto 50 caliber. Simply drill out the primer and slip in a 3/32 inch bolt. Tighten a nut on the backside of the bolt and you're in business.
