This is a pattern some of the local guys really like, it is called a Copperhead Nymph, although the only copper in the rib, I didn't name it so I don't know why, I would have called it the goldfinger nymph. I plan to tie a few this week and will test them this weekend the good Lord willing. I thought some of you troutholics would probably appreciate it. FYI, the back is 5 or 6 strands of tinsel.

Hook: Size 14 scud
Head: Gold bead
Thread: Black 6/0
Tail: Pheasant tail
Back: Gold tinsel
Ribbing: Copper wire
Body: Pheasant tail
Thorax: Peacock herl
