    Default McFarland Spruce Creek Rods

Does anybody have any experience with these glass rods? I am intrigued with the 7'0" 3wt/3pc Spruce Creek since I never got that 7'0" 4wt Winston Retro I SHOULD have bought when they were discontinued.

A 7'0" cane rod would be my first choice and I have a few that fit the bill in 2 piece. I want a 3 piece slow rod but three joints on 7'0" boo might be a bit much.

I have that rod and like it a good deal. It is gorgeous, really a stunning rod, and I enjoy casting and fishing with it. I use a Marryat CMR 34 reel loaded with Cortland Sylk DT3. No doubt in my mind that you will be a happy person with this fine rod in your hands. I get some nice accurate casts with this rod. Recommended.
