There is likely some chumming involved in that video. Personally...chumming = not fly fishing. Just my own opinion.

since the video shows no one chumming this could be a natural feeding pattern for the carp. I've seen this type of feeding occur when berries & or seeds are falling in the water. even when insects are hatching.
Around here they take cottwood seeds off the surface. You can even buy flies that look like those seeds.
Sometimes the other ones go away, but I'm always right here.
