    Default 3 generations

My Dad was the only Morgan male in his generation. He raised two sons and one daughter. My brother and I have done out parts by raising 4 sons, but it was starting to get scary about passing the name down for another generation.

Don't get me wrong. I absolutely adore my two beautiful, intelligent and personable granddaughters but, after 45 years of marriage, I was starting to worry about having another male to carry on the Morgan name.

These pictures, taken a couple of week ago, are why I no longer worry. Ugly old Gramp, my son Evan, and Evan Junior. He's just shy of 1 year old, a big guy at 26 pounds, and really close to walking.

My granddaughters are lucky to look like their beautiful moms. But EJ looks like a Morgan to me!

As some of you may recall, Evan came very close to dying in Iraq, ending up losing both legs and the vision in his right eye. That makes these pictures even more of of a treasured miracle for me.
