Default Up Date on the "Boo"

Caught some 'gill's and a small Bass with the boo yesterday! Right after I added a G Loomis Venture reel and a Cortland Sylk WF5F!!

    Gosh Jack,

I'm sorry buddy, but that report was
awfully generic and could have been
written about a $19.99 Walmart Special.
Please try it again with more feeling
this time.*G* That was akin to driving
a Lambergini to the grocery store and
replying, "Well, I bought a dozen eggs,
a loaf of bread, and some laxitive."*G*
Tell us about the feelings this finely
crafted boo created and the almost
    religious experience it inspired.
    Warm regards, Jim

    Jim;
I did that on purpose!! Just to get a rise out of you guy's!!
It was beyond anything I've ever experianced!!
There was a stiff wind at my back so the back cast was not pretty! But the wind also helped to lay out a nice forward cast!
(The 'boo is slow!!). The Gill's were very agressive and where hammering anything you offered, There was an "Oh Crap" moment when I hooked up the first one. Sort of "Now what do I do?!". Just stripped him/her in and went back for another!! The Second one got into some heavy algee and became a 2 pounder!! My 7X tippit gave out and I er, the rod was safe!!
I played around with shooting out some slack with the Sylk line and it performed very well, when my casting abilitie's are taken into account. All in all it is one great rig!!
Got a lot to learn here guy's!!
    (Jim, that Better?)

    Thanks Jack,

You have restored my dream of one day owning
a similar rod. Had me worried for a bit
though.*G* Kind of like working with wood.
A fine tool in hand doing what it was
designed for is a pleasurable experience
in and of itself.*G* Warm regards, Jim

    Hey Jim,
Sometimes you just have to "prime Jack's pump" to get the information/feedback you need! You did well.
    Jack...Glad you're enjoying the 'boo.

    Hey Banjo,

Boy those are two very sweet looking Boo's, and all decked out with some fancy looking jewelry!

Oh ya! The fish are pretty nice looking too.

Thanks for sharing the photos with us.

    Wednesday,

Not is you've sampled jim's laxative your not. Too many guffaws and you've got a problem with that stuff.
