    Default Struble Reel Seats

Just got this in an e mail today....

    Dear valued customer,
Our announcement last week of the business changes occurring at
Struble was insufficiently clear and caused confusion. To clarify,
Struble will be discontinuing production and sales of reel seats. This
decision, based solely on economic constraints, has been exceptionally
difficult to make given the long-standing and wonderful relationships
we have with our customers around the world and the passion we have
for producing highest quality products. Business in the current mode,
    however, is simply not sustainable.

The last day to place a standard order for Struble products by email,
fax, or phone is September 1, 2012. We plan to complete all orders
received prior to that date. After September 1, remaining stock items
will be displayed on our website and may be purchased online with
credit card but only while supplies last. Wholesale dealers will
receive their usual discount for such purchases.

This action should be thought of as a re-structuring of our company.
We have intentions of introducing a new line of products at some point
in the future, but we are unable to announce any timelines for that at
this time. Please watch our website for updates.

We sincerely regret having to take this course as we realize it will
negatively impact your business. We wish to express our deep gratitude
for the loyal support you have given us over the years. We treasure
    the friendships deeply.

If questions remain, please feel free to contact us.

    >From all of us at Struble....thank you very much!

That's interesting. From what I remember, Glenn sold out a few years back. I don't know who bought them out. The reels seats I've bought for the past couple years have been made by Joel Lemke, Struble's main designer. Very classy designs.

Joel's seats are very nice. I have done inserts for a few now and really like the look.
