2 wt inauguration, chapter 2
Took the 2wt out over the weekend, tried all the usual suspects, got the same result. OK, I may be proud but I ain't stupid. Tied on a hopper 'n' dropper, brought 3-4 decent bass (10-12 inchers) and one nice catfish to hand. Purist I ain't! I thought the rig might be a bit much for the little rod, and you could feel that she might be straining a bit, but she handled it like the thoroughbred she is. This 2wt is WAY SWEET, and my cheap line casts really well and floats better than a couple $60+ Rios and Wulffs I have. It's turning out to be a nice outfit.
