Going there in mid Sept. Would like to do some flyfishing. Will probably be trailer camping.

I like the Toulomne meadows on tioga pass. There is the merced river, toulomne river, Hetch-hetchy lake and other cool places to fish. You do need a California fishing license in the park. Good luck, Septmber is a beautiful time to be in the park. Jim

If you are inclined to fish the nearby area as well, the Eastern Sierra regions (hot creek, walker rivers, owens river, Mammoth area...etc) aren't too far away.... And they are top notch!!
