God bless the USA. Happy Independance day to all. No fireworks here in Colorado but we went to a pancake breakfast, a parade and later we are going to the Red Ryder Roundup rodeo. I love small town America.

Thank you for that. This day along with Memorial Day are very somber days for us troops. Remembering love ones lost so that we remain free. I too live in a city but, it is so small that it is more like a town. With a town park where we have music three nights a week, movies on a large screen on Friday nights and just good clean, American fun in the sun.
I piped the Harlem, Montana parade yesterday and even played happy birthday...didn't see anyone singing though, but there were a few older folks who removed their hats and stepped into the road when I started playing the Marine's Hymn.
