Default Furled leaders in the salt?

Anybody using them from the surf with a 9 or 10wt? I usually use straight 20lb mono.

I have used some of the heavyweight furled leaders that National Feathercraft sells for tossing big poppers. They work pretty well for this application though I prefer twisted leaders made from a single strand of 15 or 20 lb mono since I can make them fairly quickly without a jig.

I've been using a 5 foot furled leader made of 4 lb Vanish transition I then loop a 3 way swivel to the end and fish two flies, one 5 inches of 12 lb to top fly and the other 24 inches of 6lb to the bottom fly. I'm using a 6wt though. So far the swivel has broken once and the leader at the swivel broke the other time, but after about 10 months of use. Some small tangling issues but not to bad. Have landed up to a 3 foot shark so far.
