Took wife fly fishing for first time

So my wife was complaining that she had not caught a fish since 2009. So my goal today was to take her to a small stream full of brookies. They'd provide some challenge as the water is so clear and they are spooky. But on the other hand, I knew she'd catch a few.

It took a little coordination to get through, but she managed to catch her first trout on a fly rod.



My daughter came along for the ride. She also slept part of the time while I fished.



Here my wife pulled out what I consider a monster for this small stream.




Overall the day was a great success. My wife brought 3 fish to hand on a fly rod, and myself caught 2. my first one, as I was just giving her a quick casting lesson, and the fly stayed on the water for about 3 seconds haha.
