Why not try a tellico nymph? I have no idea if it is the "hot" fly for that area but the names the same and it works around Oregon (thats on the same continent as Tennessee).

Was just at Hiwassee two weeks ago...great access and info in reliance tn. Hiwassee outfitters is a good access point with Hiwassee angles fly shop right across bridge. Go talk to Dean Tullock at fly shop for good info or better yet book a trip with them...always good to use local guides
