    I use old window sash weights. Cheap and they will not get caught on anything in the water.

    Roger, I've seen 8 pound, don't know if I've seen 5 pound, tho.

    Hi Roger,

    I've found them in 5# but not with the
    plastic coating. Walmart carries the 8#
    plastic coated model. Warm regards, Jim

    I would think that the plastic coating could be copied with the insulating tool dip sold at hardware stores. Just paint a couple of coats on.

    I use a gallon milk jug full of sand. Leave the top off so the air escapes.
