Sorry, Bill. I was quite busy when I got back . I'm hammering the stripes in the estuaries in Ipswich, now. All the fish came on my 6 wt. in the float tube. I caught well over 200 fish of 10 different species. The strange large fish is an Angel Shark and took quite a long time to land. I had to kick to a boat launch while fighting it and beach it carefully-I tailed it- as I was using 10 lb. tippet, and couldn't (and didn't want to!) raise it up to the tube. I also got the good sized Halibut, some bones ( somewhat rare in SD) and all in all had an absolutely phenomenal time. I had some friends join me on three of the days. I'm going to try to make it an annual adventure, as there are many more species to catch and I've only made 14 so far. Hope all is well with you and I can make it down your way at some point. E-mail me anytime- be glad to hear from you.

Bill, I figure if they got a snout like a Doberman they probably ain't worth stickin' your fingers near 'em. Halibut have a set of choppers, too. I'm having fun lipping the plain jane stripers. I'm hoping the bluefish show within the next few weeks, though.
