    Default John's Rod

John is the patriarch of this group. His rod is a 9' 4pc #5 on a Rainshadow blank. The reel seat insert and grip ends are turned from ebony while the grip is made of flor grade cork and cork burls with black accents. The rod features titanium chrome hardware and guides. The Navy Crest on the butt finishes things off.

John served on the USS Hunt, DD-674 which is worked into the background of the graphic. John served in China (bet you didn't know about THAT one), Korea, and Vietnam.
