I am just glad someone tied some up and gave them a try. It is a very good popper and has caught many fish for me and very easy to tie. Thanks for the link. It looks like the gentleman had a great time. I wish I knew where he was fishing.....

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

Warren, SEFFF operates with the "don't ask, don't tell" with regards to fishing holes. Best guess would be northern Alabama, a place that seems well endowed with fertile, warm-water creeks and small rivers.

Matt is a friend of mine and I spent an evening showing him and Fishhawk how to tie dad's "Sam's One Bug". Warren I can take you to the water. Another friend just opened up an outfitter and rental shop near there. It's a nice place and he would love to have more people come visit. Google: Big Wills Outfitter.
