Does anyone have tying instructions or pictures of this historic yellowstone fly.
On page 216 of Perrault's Standard Dictionary of Fishing Flies he lists the "Pitcher" as a dry fly, size 12-14, with a gold tip, gray hackle fiber tail, gray fur dubbed body, blue & gray mixed hackle, and gray duck (quill slip) wing.

I love Perrault's book! No pictures anywhere! You get to use you imagination in the construction .. sort of like radio before TV came along!!
