    Default Superfine Touch 704

My new love affair. Pulled my new one out for the first time Saturday when the BWO's started coming off in the Driftless.

Within 30', it will put a dry where you want it.

Now don't start that!....I'm in enough trouble already!

The Superfine Touch rods are FANTASTIC! I've owned/built the 804, 663, and two 761's. I used the 663 almost exclusively in the driftless about a month ago. The 761 is my favorite ultralight rod! (And I've handled plenty of ultralights...)

I bought the rod to be able to make very short casts, sometimes with no more than a foot of line out. That I can get some distance is a nice benny.

Clearly though, it's not made for chucking indicator nymph rigs (not that I figured it would be).
