I fish a St. Croix Avid 5wt. for nymphing & the Orvis 5wt. in the winter/spring, then go down in size as the bugs get smaller.... to a Scott's A2 4wt. in summer/fall and also a H&H IM6 3wt. for the trico's...
all 9 footers.
