Default High altitude CuttsI think you guys might enjoy this video. The owner of my local fly

I think you folks might enjoy this video. The owner of my local fly shop and one of the guys who work there catching some truly beautiful trout at altitude. That lake is not far from me as the crow flies. Unfortunately, I am not a crow and no longer have what it takes to hike into it.

Beautiful country, beautiful fish. Makes me wish my son had accepted admission to CU or CSU.

If I keep up "my regimen" I will be able to hike to that lake on my homeward trek from Wyoming this fall. SO, just where is this "gem" Brad ? ( if you can share)

Mark, I suspect it is not a secret spot --just hard to get to. Contact Bill Leuchten at Front Range anglers via their web site.

Leave a note with where you are going and keep a couple of aspirin in your pocket where you can reach them you old fr*t. (I think I'm allowed to say that, because I think I am older than you)

    Hey UJ,
Funny you should mention "aspirin". I have 2 capsules in my pocket, my truck, my fly vest, my suit etc ALL THE TIME. AND, I
am a strict 81mg aspirin regimen per day believer. AND, if all that didn't do the trick, apart from not being able to say goodby to all my family and a last prayer of contrition to Him, wouldn't be a bad way/place to expire

Very nice! On my list of things to do.
Good fishing technique trumps all.....wish I had it.
