Thats a shame. He always seemed to to be one of the more genuine hosts. I just watched his show last weekend and commented to my wife how he was aging/maturing after all these years on the show. I don't know him personally....but I think we lost a good one.
Prayers for his family and friends. Seems we have lost too many good fly fishing folks lately. Y'all take care, John.
Thankfully, Jose didn't interject so much of the high drama I see on so many fishing shows these days. I have enough "excitement" in my work life. I fish to relax.

One of the very few fishermen I can honestly say I was jealous of just for his sprit tword life. I will miss his presents on this side.

Spanish Fly has a Tribute show this weekend. It is on the Outdoor Channel at 8 or 9 AM Sunday in my time zone.
